Bournemouth Churches Housing Association (BCHA)
Our organisation is a housing Association with a difference and stretches across the South West of England and comprises over 60 sites. We provide somewhere to live for our service users in the wider sense of the word. We provide support, a safe haven, access to training and learning, creative opportunities, links to other support services, and most importantly the prospect of moving on to independence. We operate in a highly regulated environment within the third sector and rely on government funding, rental income, grants and donations. We chose a combined EFQM business excellence model and balanced scorecard framework in order to improve our performance management. Longview played a key role in winning hearts and minds and ensuring that the project was properly managed and implemented. Our management team and staff now have more autonomy and we have embedded a culture of continuous improvement.

Blickglen lifts Ltd is an SME that provides a full facilities management service for lift installation and maintenance. My approach is to develop long-term relationships with my customers and to provide a stable footing for planned expansion. Longview consulting implemented a business management system to the new ISO 9001:2000 standard that was tailored to my business and value adding. In addition they have enabled my company to gain the award of notified body status that allows my company to install, test and certificate our lifts. Since our systems have been in place it has contributed to our company growing by 50%.
